SEMINARS is the result of the association between DORIA ASSOCIADOS and MAIOR ENTRETENIMENTO, from GRUPO ABC. It operates in the market of seminars, lectures and workshops, focusing on themes related to business, politics, economics, technology, sustainability and sports.
Its main activity is to organize events - private or demanded - with great repercussion in the media and in the opinion leaders.
SEMINARS' first event, in November 2009, had the former secretary of the United Nations and Nobel Piece Prize, Kofi Annan, in São Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro. Annan, one of the greatest voices of our time, talked about sustainability, piece and political reforms in the Security Council, in order to make it "democratic, representative, effective and legitimate".
In March 2010, SEMINARS organized the INTERNACIONAL FORUM ON SUSTAINABILITY in Manaus, with the presentations of the former vice president of the United States of America and Nobel Piece Prize, Al Gore; the filmmaker and director of “Avatar” and “Titanic”, James Cameron; the scientist and researcher, Thomas Lovejoy and the Former Governor of the Amazon, Eduardo Braga, amongst other business leaders and experts in environment and sustainability.
Also in 2010, SEMINARS brought to Brazil the Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
